Ouch!

I'm as red as a Lobster! Yesterday, Martin and I, went to the beach. We just need to go to the parking and walk a few steps to open a gate and we're there! Well, from his apartment. We woke up at 9:30 am and I asked him to go there. All in all, I had a great day!

Well, if you don't account for the burned skin. lol. At almost noon we went out of the water and went to eat (I didn't want breakfast, I wanted beach!) We took a shower and went to eat to a pretty country restaurant La Casita Blanca [with country I meant what WE, in Puerto Rico call country style, not as the US country restaurant] to eat our lunch. We had "bacalaítos" and "asopa'o de pollo" as opening. Then we ate "picadillo, arroz con gandules y tostones" and he ate corned beef, "arroz con gandules y tostones" to finish it off we ate (one for two) "casquitos de guayaba con queso blanco del país" and the famous "chichaíto" that's an alcoholic beverage with "anís" and some coffee beans. From there we went to rent the movies: Mr. Brooks and Robin B Hood. The first is a thriller with Kevin Costner and Demi Moore. I loved it! And Jackie Chan did an splendid job as an action hero and super dad in this movie. lol. No, the baby isn't his but he did took care of him and his poo through the movie. Those two movies were quite a great selection! If you haven't seen them and you want, check them out in the links and rent them as soon as you can.

Well, I've been creating. I did 3 mini cards. I know, not too much but I was with Martin, and family and so I just had a few minutes, not the whole day. They are Christmas 3X3 cards to go with gifts. They look pretty nice. Later I'll be doing a few others since I left them in a mini purse at Martin's home.

Coloring too much

I like to color, that's right. I don't know how to, too much. Still I try. I've been learning a few tricks and techniques with the latest projects. I hate my ATC summer cards for the swap with SBS 5 sisters but I don't have a lot of time now to go around and do it again. AND I had a few other little problems with those ATC cards. They are a definite challenge.

Now, there is another interesting swap I'm doing in PW with Paper Cuts members. It is called twisted and demented. It was fun doing those cards. I'll include a picture here once they get their cards. I'm doing another with coasters, friendship, thank you, birthday, another ATC, a few other project challenges and I still need to edit my video tutorial. I'll be sure to upload it before June 1. lol. I know that is valid up to May 31, at almost midnight. BUT I'll be posting it HERE!

Well, last night I was giving the finishing touches to the twisted and demented swap images and thought of coloring with chalk and water. Yes! It worked better than aquacolors! They look almost the same and blend nicely. Just that I need to find a few water color cardstock. I know where to buy it from just need to have the funds since I'm planning to making an order to TAC by the end of the month. I'm running off a few of my basic supplies.

No picture to show because all of them goes to swaps and I don't want to spoil the surprise but I'll try to relax tonight and do a card just for fun.

Angelhood 2

As many of you know I'm a demonstrator for TheAngelCompany (TAC) and so I keep in touch with other demos through Paper Wings. Well, many of us are in the SBS and wanted to do something similar but only for TAC demo's to keep in touch through our blogs mainly. They are all awesome artists and I need to tell you that so far, I haven't seen any BAD creation between them. I haven't seen them in other of the blogs I frequently visit, but I know I haven't posted a few things I don't like from what I do. lol.

Anyway, we're all around US (me being the only one in PR from sisterhood 2) and we want to share not only with other demos but with other readers our art and knowledge as well as products. Now, I can tell you, there is ONE of them which blog I've been visiting regularly for a long time. I even get her updates in my inbox and that's Rita's. She showcases wonderful techniques and cards for all to enjoy. She shares her animosity and good temper with all her readers. She've been through a really hard process fighting cancer and let me tell you, she's my hero. I know I wouldn't survive emotionally speaking. She's strong and wonderful. I know she has something to teach you with every entry.

What else can I say about us? That we're very happy to be together and sharing with you such nice creations. Hope you visit them. The links are in the side bar of my blog. There are links too to my SBS5 sisters there. I didn't forget nor will I forget about them.

Project Challenge: Mini Purse

Here is the project Joani and I did for our Project Challenge for Paper Wings (PW). The smaller one (her original version) holds up to six 3X3 cards. My version (which I modified from her template to fit my needs) can hold up to six A2 (standard size) cards with their envies. I did it with only one piece of 12 X 12 cardstock and some pieces of patterned paper.

Here I used the Muelberry Paper and Cardstock collection from TAC which just became retired this past month. That was one of my favorite paper sets. I used brads and Bitty Blossoms as well as my Scor Pal.

What I've been talking about...

A while back I mentioned that I had been creating but I haven't been posting here that often. Of course that has a reason. The main reason is I've been in an Angel Gathering Site. By that I mean a forum created for TAC Angels. I haven't uploaded a lot of my creations there but I've been posting a project challenge every Monday with Joani. We both make the same project with our personalized version. Well, now is the time to share with you those projects. IF you ever want to do one, you need to e-mail me. I'm not posting the directions here. I will indeed upload next month a video tutorial with the card I designed for May 26th project challenge because I'm proud of myself. I did take the main idea from another project and then did it better yet!

I haven't forgotten about the video... it's done

I just need to edit it since I didn't turn it off enough and it is almost an hour (that's what it takes me to do the project without talking to anyone. To upload it somewhere I need it to be up to 10 minutes and so I need to edit it and add then the voice and captions. I think I'll just forget about the audio it has and just do captioning. I'm trying to figure out what I want.

Since I took Production classes in college I know how to work around the video. lol. Don't think I'm an amateur at that. I'm an amateur at doing tutorials and actually appearing in camera. Now, I want a good tutorial, that's why I'm making one for month. I already know what I'll be doing next but I'll see if Martin can help me by taking the video so I can focus in the project. This time without audio until I edit. I just prefer it that way.
